The promotion of the Passive House Standard through exemplary projects created a positive dynamic around energy efficient buildings in Brussels. This aspiration to exemplarity also demonstrated to every actor in the building sector (architects, contractors and developers), that they were fully able to respond to that challenge in urban environments.
